Hi everybody and welcome back to the Naio Nails Channel. I’m Kirsty Meakin and we are going to continue the hairdressing-themed nails. Don’t forget all the products that I’m going to use will be listed below as always and don’t forget to subscribe and hit that bell for notifications.
Well, let’s get cracking with some fantabulous, amazing, hairdressing nail art. I will state, I’m not sure if JJ will be able to do hair dressing with these nails on. However, we’ll give it a go. Adam: You don’t mind having a week off? JJ: Oh no! Adam: Just have a holiday! Kirsty: Be alright.
JJ: Really? Kirsty: Yeah. Kirsty: Now, the design will continue over these four nails only because… JJ, put it on your knee, Duck. JJ: So sorry! Adam: She’s got other friends, what’s that all about? Kirsty: I’m gonna flow this design over these four nails.
I am not really gonna do much on the form. What’s that’s face for? JJ: I’m listening to you. I’m excited. Kirsty: I thought you were like gobsmacked that I was gonna leave the form out. JJ: You know it Kirsty and the kids looking at the presents.
Kirsty: Oh, you were doing that… JJ: I know. Kirsty: Right! I’m gonna add some hand-painted nail art on to these. I mean the majority of it is gonna go across these three nails, in all fairness. So, what I do need to do is just matte off the nail a little bit, just where I’m gonna paint really.
The paint will stick a lot nicer. That sort of grab on to it. I am just gonna wipe over. You can wipe over with Acetone or your Gel Residue Wipe-off solution. This is a sponge for cleaning up with, greaseproof paper.
Now… JJ: Do want me nail? Kirsty: What? What can do it easy, you can do it there? Kirsty: Go on. JJ: Let me get this point right here and go over there. JJ: Oh! Adam: You better off going from the other side.
JJ: Oh! Kirsty: Then, we do it like this. Just go… Angle it. No, not that way, the other way, yeah and now drive. Look at that! Now, do others like Like that. Adam: Oh my God! Kirsty: Angle it, angle it! Over the tip.
JJ: No, can’t do it. Kirsty: Go on! Don’t ruin the nail because I’ll kill you. And that’s how you cut out a piece of greaseproof paper. Gonna wet it. Yeah, you can wet it both sides. You want it slightly damp and although it says it’s grease-proof, the dampness actually does filter through onto that paper.
You do need this a little bit wetter. Adam: I thought it might be a little bit damp. Kirsty: We could just get a little cup of water and I can just drizzle it off. JJ: So, just do it yourself. Kirsty: Yeah, pretty much.
Oh my God! you can’t do the job right this man. Thank you, Adam. Alright! So, you can see how that’s all damp now. That’s what you want. This is just a very fancy soap dish. That’s all it is, you don’t need to get a soap dish to do it, whatever you want to.
Just use a plastic Tupperware box, something like that. What we’re gonna do with this is pour our paint onto it and it’s going to keep the paint wet. Adam: It’s just like a nail hack or an art hack. Kirsty: Definitely an art hack.
Adam: Right. So, I’ve got Titanium White and this is steel, as in the metal, steel not like I’ve steeled, stolen. JJ: I always steal. Kirsty: I always steal a mint. Kirsty: I always steal cookie from a cookie jar.
Not that kind of steal. Now, we’ve got Lilac and then we’ve got Rose Pale. Wh’y not called Pale Rose? I don’t know. This one is… what? What does that say? My God. Adam: Where am I looking? Here? Kirsty: Here.
Adam: Ah! Nero Mica! Kirsty: What?! Adam: Nero Mica… JJ: No, down here. Kirsty: No. Micaceous black.. Adam: Micaceous? JJ: Is it…? Kirsty: If anybody knows, like we need it. You need to comment below, spell it how you say it.
Adam: Phonetically. Kirsty: Yes, phonetically. That’s the word. So, that is a Shiny Black Shimmery. You know, got particles of a beautiful shimmer. See the shimmer? They’re our paints. This is toilet roll for people with big bottoms.
So, you can take that home with you if you want to, Jay. JJ: Well, that’s definitely not me. Kirsty: You know what? I wish I’ve got a big booty. Big booties are all the range aren’t they? JJ: Well, that’s definitely not me.
Kirsty: You know what? I wish I’ve got a big booty. Big booties are all the range… Adam: Range? Rage? Kirsty: All the range. Adam: Range, all the rage? Kirsty: All the rage. I’m gonna mix it grey. So I’ve got the white and a little bit of that ‘shimmery black’ to make my grey colour.
So, this is going to be hair because this sort of grey-ash hair is very popular at the minute. So, you can see that that paint adds a little bit of texture. You see little greys makes it bit textured, it’s pretty cool.
So, what I’m gonna do now is come around and create a silhouette of a face. Fill this area. So, we have a lady’s face and this is her beautiful flowing hair. And we gonna give it sort of little wispy wavy bits of hair here.
I love it! Adam: Like when you did the extra hair. Kirsty: Mm-hmm! I like it! So, what I’m gonna do now is continue the hair, so the hair is gonna go across. So, that’s my sort of starting point, you can see how they line up.
So, you don’t have to worry about looking at that nail now. So, then you gonna add some little curly bits… What would you call them J? JJ: That size. Kirsty: Yeah. They become traces. Slide it, come up.
This one is a bit fiddly. So just a little bit of doing a little bit of hair, not a lot. Just a little bit of hair. What we’re gonna do now is top coat that. So, I’m gonna seal that with the Urban Graffiti Topcoat.
You’ve got to make sure it’s all dry. This will seal in like that. Well, you see I was going to use the lilac and pink but I realised I also have not using the Lilac and the Pink, so I’m sorry guys. So, we’ve got the silhouette of the lady’s face with the glitter.
Obviously, the shoulder and neck as well, coming downing here. The hair coming through. We’re not gonna finish there, we are gonna add some 3D nail art.
