Hey guys, welcome back to my channel! Today I just wanted to come on and do this really fun, easy makeup look. It is a full face makeup tutorial so I will show you how I do my brows, foundation, highlight and contour, the eye look, and then two different options for the lips and highlighter.
So it will b two looks, a look that is a little bit more high school, and then a look that is a little bit more grown up inc ase you have other special occasion looks coming up that you want to wear this look to.
So I think this is a really fun, easy look that will look great on a lot of different skin tones, it is going to look good day or night, and it is just so pretty I love the look so much. I used just one palette to create the eye makeup look.
I know that is something that is super helpful and convenient to people since not everyone has a YouTube channel or beauty blog and has every single palette so. And this is one that I feel like you can get a lot of use out of on an everyday basis as well, it is the Semi Sweet Chocolate bar palette by Too Faced.
So if you have this palette, awesome, but if you do not then no worries I just used a bunch of very easy to find neutrals. So I am going to jump right into the look, and hopefully you all enjoy! We are going to start with primer, I am using the Benefit Porefessional Primer and I am patting that all over the center of my face in the t zone.
Then I am going to go in with my foundation duo, it is the dream team. I am using the LOREAL Infallible Demi Matte foundation mixed with my Covergirl 3-in-1. And I blend that all over my face with my Real Techniques foundation brush, it is my favorite–it’s amazing! And this combinationjust gives the most flawless finish and coverage that is also very smoothing.
Now I am doing my brows, this is my go to brow product for years now, it is the LOREAL Eyeshadow single in Deep Mocha, and I am using an iT Cosmetics double ended brush to buff in that powder and blend it out with a spoolie.
This is my favorite thing to do for brows and I actually have a routine up so I will link that down below. To set my brows it is prom night so you want to make sure your brows stay in place, I am going to use a MAKE UP FOR EVER brow gel, it is clear, it doesn’t look flaky or white so I love it.
And then I am just going to go in with my LORAC Behind the Scenes primer, and pat that all over m lid to give the shadow something to stick to, prevent creasing, and also increase color payoff. I am going to warm up that crease area to sort of give myself a transition color using Peanut Butter from the Too Faced Semi Sweet Chocolate bar palette.
I am buffing that in with my E40 by Sigma, which I love because it will do all the work for you, and help everything blend nicely in the crease. And then with Truffled, I am going to go right into the crease and in the outer corner of my lid.
I am using my Sigma crease brush, that has a tapered point so it will give you a very focused application. I really just build that color up to add a lot of definition in the crease. Then afterwards, I just blend that along my lower lash line.
To deepen that color even more, I am taking Hot Fudge on the same crease brush–it is an even deeper brown shade than the one I used before but with a little bit of shimmer. Then after that, I blend out any harsh lines in the crease using my Sigma E40.
Taking BonBon, I am just applying that all over my lid and I am going to apply it in the inner corner and buff it out into and a little bit above my natural crease to make my lids look bigger. I also take it into the tear duct area and also the inner corner of my lower lash line.
I then go in and add intensity where I may have lost it in the outer corner. Buff out any harsh lines in the crease. And now I am just applying black eyeliner to my waterline and smoking it out using my iT Cosmetics brush.
I love this technique for smoking out liner. I am then going to go in with eyeshadow to blend that out, we are taking Hot Fudge again on a pencil brush. We are using that to smoke out the color a little bit and sort of blend it out and make it less intense.
I am also going to go right in with Peanut Butter from the same palette, and smoke it out a little bit more just to make everything look more seamless. I am applying my mascara to my top and lower lashes.
You want to do this so that your lashes blend with your falsies really nicely. Also, to further blend my falsies, i am going to line my lid very close to the lash line, with a very thin line. This is just going to help the lashes blend in more seamlessy.
And then I am going to go ahead and add the falsies, I like to use a tweezer and also my fingers. Preference is key. Now for the face, I am using my Maybelline FotMe concealer in Cafe, I love it and have repurchased it quite a few times.
It is just really good. I am going in ith my MAC Prolongwear concealer in NC35, and it will just work to brighten the area a little bit more. Now I am just adding my contour and I am using my Sephora JUMBO Pencil in Dark Brown matte, and I am just buffing it out–it does not have to be perfect because we are going back in with Sunpower to blend everything out.
I am using Ben Nye Banana powder to set my highlight and I love doing this before I go in with Sunpower because it just makes everything look extra seamless. Sunpower is a MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural powder and it is a brown with a really warm red undertone, it acts like a bronzer and it helps to blend my contour and make it look super seamless.
I just love the combination. You just buff it all out in the perimeter of your face. I also use it to buff out my nose contour. I like to do a nose contour when I know I will be taking pictures because it helps enhance bone structure.
And then, using this sort of Terra Cotta blush color from my Sleek blush by 3 palette in Flame, I am applying the blush to my cheekbones. I love using blush on my cheekbones to slenderize my face. I am going to go in with Chic Choco and line the lips.
This is optional because we are just doing a gloss for this first look. I am using NYX Megashine lip gloss in the shade “Natural,” and it is so gorgeous, and is just an easy high school look. I only wore lip gloss in high school so I know that will be a preference for a lot of people.
Ok guys, so this is the simpler version of the look, and now I am going to go ahead and start the more dramatic version. For that I am just going to add highlight and then I am going to do a different lip, so if you want to see this more dramatic look–I know dramatic is a weird word, I guess I mean just more grown up.
In high school, I didn’t really wear lipstick or anything that is why I used a gloss and I definitely didn’t wear highlighter, so I am just going to go ahead and start the more grown up version of the look right now.
For highlighter I am taking my INGLOT highlighter in the number 3, and this is like my favorite highlighter right now I absolutely love it. It is just gorgeous, and the way that I use it is I take the puff–it comes with a little puff.
And I pat that on to the high point of my cheek bone where I want to apply my highlighter, and then I go ahead and blend it out using a fan brush. That is just the best way to apply it. Absolutely beautiful, I love it.
Then I am going to apply a little bit of that highlighter to my brow bone region. I am just using a little bit because this is a somewhat dramatic highlighter. Then I will blend it all out. Just a not about this product, you want to work relatively quickly because it will almost “set” in place and get a little difficult to blend the longer you leave it on.
I like that and it is really nice because it is long wearing and it won’t move but it is just something to keep in mind while you are applying it. Now for the lips we are going to do a liquid lipstick, and I am sure you guys know what that is.
I am just going to start by lining my lips with Sephora lip liner, in Chic Choco. Then I am using this LASplash liquid lipstick, it is the smitten liptint in Charmed and it is so creamy I love it. The great thing about a liquid lipstick is that it is not going to transfer, smudge or budge or get all over the place when you eat and drink and that is something you will be doing on prom night.
So that is a really great option if you want to try it. I know that in high school I was a lip gloss girl, and I think a lot of people are, but if you want to try something different, then this is a really good option because it is hassle free, you won’t have to reapply and you won’t have to do your lips the whole night so I think that is a huge plus.
Alright guys, so that is the finished look. I hope you all enjoyed, thank you so much for watching. I will link everything that I used down below as always, in the description. I will also link my blog down there as well as all of my social media, so you guys can find those–those are the best ways to get ahold of me if you have any questions.
