So we have done DC, Now we are gonna go on to Marvel characters We are gonna do Ironman Gonna take a little bit of white, plenty of water and make a wash You’re not gonna wash your face in it it’s just a wash I call it a wash Because it’s very thin, very watery So i have got a rough outline there I am going to outline SOme of the detail on his mask you know, the yellowy gold this is so i get everything in the right place the right colour and everything So it’s quite faint but i can see what is going on It’s giving me an idea of where everything is going to go So am gonna use my yellow first of all while that dries a bit i am gonna start putting the red on again mixing a little bit of water I would definitely the giuys in the masks are a little bit easier to paint than the ones that just have their face on show Just gonna do his shoulder here We can start to add some shaded sections in here of this darker red we’ve mixed I didn’t want to just use pure gold because it wouldn’t have been opaque enough to do what i wanted So that’s why i did the yellow first So with the black watered down I’m gonna start to add some detail I am just marking out where the eyes are very lightly rightm we can start to add some highlighting i’m gonna do his eyes first Top and base and that is really gonna bring out that gold and make it look more like it’s metal gonna pop that into the lamp and cure that So lets get sketching this out, with the white wash.
Gotta get the positioning right just gonna map out the A gonna use blue So i have mixed a midblue so i am gonna start doing his mask just gonna use the dark blue now to just add a little bit of definition so this is the blue just as it comes straight out of the tube and i am gonna use some of the flesh tint for his face and around his eyes So i am just using now , a watered down black to add even more depth to this design gonna put the second coat of the flesh colour on now we need to do some shading on the face on the bottom part of his face so with the black wash i am just gonna add some detail to his face now, to the parts of the face we can see anyway to his nose and his mouth right, we need to highlight with a white wash plenty of water into your white paint I am gonna bring this design.
I am just gonna wait for this to dry, so i am just gonna start on this one I am just gonna make this design flow more, so i am just gonna do some American Shizamaniz, over here What do you think about that then we’ll do a star and some stripes one big star I’m gonna highlight the Shield so it looks more realistic So i has got more dimension to it just gonna finish this with a bit of cuticle oil damn, that looks good I am well impressed oh, i have excelled myself again haven’t i on to Spiderman So i am gonna map this out again So i’m gonna put the red all over his face imagine if when they pull off the mask he’s like some really bosted guy if you don’t know what bosted means, bosted means UGLY do you know when they have a kiss and they do the upside down spider kiss and they go, oh no duck, put it back on and we’ve got a bit of his body here So i am just going in with a second coat of the red now gonna use the same blue i mixed for captain america gonna put another coat of red on, but i have watere it down quite a bit just so it’s really smooth i want the application to be really smooth because when i start to paint the detail it will give a better softer finish while that’s drying, i’m gonna start to add a bit of detail to his leg that is coming up here he’s lifting his leg up The other side if his arm is shaded gonna start to shade around his face just so i know that i’ve got a definite separation between his face and the body gonna highlight a lttle bit on his.
just highlighting around the edge of his face there gonna make it pop out a little bit more put his eyes in now and we need to go around his eyes with black we need it to be really crisp lines so to get it really crisp, you need to water your paint down I can just see it all coming together, so it gets me a bit excited slowly, just starting to add, some definition so you can do all of your shadowing but don’t do your highlighting the main bulk of your highlighting needs to be done after you have done all of the spiders webs because you’ll need to highlight over the webs or else the webs with just stand out way too much okay i’ll shade his eyes as well actually we can highlight his eyes and we just want white paint pure white Gonna do a little bit of his spider i’ll probably get it all on actually you can see how it is all coming together now So i just doing the little tiny loops my god these are tiny and then highlight so i have just put a dot there, because that is the main source of the hightlight so it’s gonna come from there and work it’s way out so i am just gonna work this highlight with the brush I think i am happy with that now let me just have a last check might put a little bit of a shadow I am happy with that now I’m gonna seal that sealing it with Top and Base Loook how gorgeous that pigment is in the background it;s so nice Right on to the next one what we are gonna do here is we are gonna carry the design on, so we are gonna do is a bit of spidermans web and little spider The logo, yeah the logo So we have got a bit of a web there just makes that stand out a little more the shadow does and then we are gonna do the spiderman logo which is the black spider Right so we are gonna seal that with Top and base on the tiniest finger i have ever worked on with some gel resolution.
not gel resolution you just created a new product Gel Residue Wipe of Solution Resolution and that’s the end of part two of the battle of DC v MArvel Who do you think won I think DC What do you think Marvel Marvel all the way?
